Customer Services Assistant – Libraries
Salary: £21,575 - £21,968 per annum (pro-rata)
About Us and The Role
We are excited to invite applications from suitable candidates for x2 Saturday Customer Services Assistant roles, as follows:
Nuneaton Library Saturdays (4hours) 9:00-13:00
Atherstone Library Saturday (3.75hours) Week 1 9:00-13:00 & Week 2 9:30-13:00
The post-holder will be an integral part of a team - therefore, you will need to use your own initiative and take responsibility to ensure that tasks are completed and customer needs are met, ensuring a positive experience for customers of all ages.
ICT plays a huge role in libraries today so experience of using office packages, the internet and social media is needed to assist our customers when answering enquiries, giving hands-on advice and carrying out administrative duties.
You will also be required to assist with events and activities so you should have the ability to share enthusiasm and knowledge of books and reading with all ages, as well as have the enthusiasm to deliver promotional work including children's activities which may involve singing and telling stories.
Working hours across the week will be allocated on a rota basis across all our sites. Libraries are open on Saturdays and Nuneaton is also open on Sundays. Staff will be required to work weekends and working patterns will be based on the needs of the service and are subject to change.

Key Skills & Experience Required
On the application form please clearly list that you have the 4 GCSE passes, grade C or above or equivalent to include English and Maths. Please list each qualification separately with the obtained grade. Please do not upload copies of your qualifications, CV’s or any forms of ID.
