About Us and The Role
Targeted Youth Support are a small team of JNC qualified youth workers sitting within Children’s Services. Each youth worker is involved in delivering 121 youth work, group work and detached youth work. We run from 6 youth work bases around the county. These bases include 3 vibrant and busy youth clubs.
Targeted Youth Support are a valued part of a restorative Warwickshire County Council’s Children’s Service and have been invested and supported to grow over the last two years. We are an evidence-based service that can prove the positive impact we make with young people. Young people are at the heart of all we do.
As part of our ongoing support for voluntary sector youth projects we are looking to recruit a part time/ fixed term (7.4 hrs a week) QA Senior Youth Worker to support the quality and impact of the funding received by voluntary sector groups from WCC.
The post will involve evening quality assurance visits to projects around the county. You will be mostly lone working and will require a recent and robust knowledge of measuring youth work outcomes. You will have a good up to date knowledge of national standards of youth work delivery. You will also have a good financial knowledge so you can oversight the outgoings of the project. You will have excellent time management skills which will allow you to use the weekly 7.4 hours wisely.
This role is based at Ratcliffe Youth Centre.
