Energy Data Analyst
An essential part of this role is to ensure that WCC have accurate and robust energy consumption, cost and carbon dioxide emissions data in order to deliver the aims and objectives of WCC's Energy Policy, maintain compliance with energy and climate change related legislation and achieve corporate environmental goals & objectives including maintaining certification to the ISO 14001 environmental management standard.
The principal duty will be development and maintenance of the Energy Management Database Systems link. You'll need to be comfortable using formulas in spread sheets, writing energy related articles, liaising with colleagues and dealing with energy related queries.
This role is a part time. You will be required to work the equivalent of two and a half days per week.

Requirements
The essential criteria are:
Good standard level of education in relevant subjects. HNC or equivalent in analytical discipline or with sufficient experience and skills in related field.
An understanding of IT systems, including databases, excel,word, email etc.
Experience of collating, managing and analysing large volumes of data.
Administrative experience within a building services /facilities services environment.
Able to demonstrate customer care and negotiating skills for resolving energy bill disputes, and ability to work with a wide range of people.
An interest in environmental sustainability is desirable.
A spreadsheet test will be sent to those invited to interview.
