We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and committed Social Worker to join our Learning Disability Service within Warwickshire. Whilst we are currently working from home, the team has a base in Warwick and Bedworth and consists of Social Care Practitioners, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants.
Key requirements
You will be flexible, innovative and have an up-to-date knowledge and experience of legislation and policies in the social care arena. You will have knowledge of working with a wide range of people, including people with Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with physical disabilities, mental health, carers and their families. You will support customers to identify strengths, meet their assessed outcomes and maximise their independence by utilising community resources and universal services. You will be committed to the promotion of best practice and quality interventions with our customers, carers, partners and stakeholders. As a strong team player, you will be required to contribute to the development and promotion of the Learning Disability Service.
