About us and the role
Let’s Start with Strengths!
Employment opportunities have arisen within our Service which supports Older People across Warwickshire both in their own homes and within Residential and Nursing Care on behalf of Adult Social Care.
Our Older People's Service supports citizens across the North of the county; therefore, you will need to be able to travel to undertake work across North Warwickshire, Rugby Nuneaton and Bedworth.
Do you want to want to work in local communities, focusing on prevention, using strengths-based community led support approaches to maximise opportunities and outcomes? Outcomes are what people want to achieve and how they want to live their lives.
Are you good at having creative conversations with people via technology such as telephone and video calls and in places where they feel most at ease, for example, community venues, to help people identify their strengths, abilities and those of their carer’s, families, friends, and communities?
Are you comfortable with uncomfortable conversations? Can you have conversations that may be difficult for you, or those you are speaking with?
Can you support people to connect with others and with communities to enhance their lives?
Would you be brilliant at co-creating plans with individuals, their carer’s, families, and friends that enhance their strengths and help achieve their ambitions?
Are you able to work with computer systems and technology to record and evidence the conversations you have had and as a means of connecting to people?
Are you able to move around Warwickshire efficiently to meet people where and when required?
Then we are looking for YOU!
In return we offer great team support, training and development opportunities and investment in you, excellent flexible working, trusting you to get the job done and to do what’s right for individuals and families.
