Salary
Point 1 - GBP 8,398.14 per annum, All New Starter WCC Apprentices
Point 2 - GBP 11,873.23 per annum, 19th birthday and have completed 12 months of the scheme
Point 3 - GBP 14,865.68 per annum, 21st birthday and have completed 12 months of the scheme
Point 4 - GBP 15,850.28 per annum, 25th birthday and have completed 12 months of the scheme

We are looking for two Recycling Advisor Apprentices based at Princes Drive Recycling Centre in Leamington Spa and Hunters Lane Recycling Centre in Rugby or Lower House Farm Recycling Centre in Dordon.
The Role
As a Recycling Advisor Apprentice you will be working towards your level 2 NVQ in Sustainable Resource Management whilst working outdoors informing and assisting members of the pubic with the use of the recycling and disposal facilities.
Although primarily based at either Princes Drive Recycling Centre, Leamington and Hunters Lane Recycling Centre, Rugby or Lower House Farm Recycling Centre, Dordon, you will have the opportunity to work at other recycling centres in the County as required. You will be trained in how to operate and maintain plant equipment as well as completing a range of other training such as fire prevention and first aid. You will assist in all areas of the role and if successful there is the opportunity to continue to complete level 3 and gain a full time position as a Recycling Advisor at the end of the training.
Recycling Centres are open every day of the week and full time staff work an average of 37 hours a week with more hours in the summer than the winter and working 7 days on, 2 days off, 7 days on, 2 days off, 7 days on, 3 days off. Weekend working and some bank holidays are included and you can claim overtime payments for this work.
