About Us
We are the Performance and Quality Team, part of Business Intelligence, and have the primary objective of delivering the Performance and Planning Framework for Warwickshire County Council. This is a busy and energetic team who work with stakeholders at all levels and within all Services of the County Council supporting management of performance and delivery of the Council Plan Outcomes. We provide customers with help and advice on Business Planning and support them in monitoring delivery of their objectives.
About the Role
We are looking for a Performance and Improvement Monitoring Officer to join us for a period of Maternity Cover. You will be an integral part of the team liaising with stakeholders to collect performance data and commentary, analysing the data and providing summary reports to Senior Managers and Members on performance of the organisation. The role will also involve working with Assistant Directors and Service Managers to develop their Business Plans for 2021/22. The Team is also busy implementing a new Microsoft system to collect performance data and commentary and present in Power BI and you will be a key part of that piece of work.

Key Requirements
As you will be working with a variety of stakeholders, it is important you have strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal. You need to be able to work on your own initiative as well as collaboratively with customers and colleagues. You will have the ability to work to deadlines, sometimes under pressure, whilst always maintaining accuracy, attention to detail and a professional, helpful manner. Experience using spreadsheets is required as is a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
We are inviting applications for this role on a secondment basis. As this will require you to be released from other duties, you will need to have the agreement of your manager.
