Business Support Officer/Letterbox Coordinator
(ACE - Adoption Central England)
This role will be based at Nelson House, Whitecross, Hereford
Key requirements
The Business Support Team needs a great team player with high level keyboard skills and competency in the use of computerised office systems. You will have accurate literacy, numeracy and administrative skills. You will have an ability to communicate effectively with the public, professionals, clients and colleagues having a professional, but friendly, telephone manner. You should be organised, able to work flexibly, exercising confidentiality at all times. You should be used to working under pressure to meet deadlines, and prioritising your own workload and use initiative to respond to problems and unexpected situations.
About the role
A unique aspect of this role is that you will also be responsible for the Letterbox Exchange Service. Letterbox provides a confidential and safe means of exchanging information between birth families and adoptive parents, this should enable the adopted child to have access to ongoing information about birth family members as they are growing up and vice versa.
