Team Leader, Atherstone
22.5 hours per week

About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and committed team within Bedworth & North Warwickshire's Children's Safeguarding and Support Team.
We are looking for a Team Manager who is passionate about working with children and families and developing high quality practice. This is a supportive team with a strong focus on continuing professional development. If you are highly motivated, with a strong background in the management and the development of others, we want to hear from you.
You will be supported in your role by a named Principal Practitioner who will work alongside you to support the continued development of the team.
You will use your leadership and management skills to ensure that our children and families receive a high quality service through Child In Need, Child Protection, PLO planning and Children in Care processes.

Key requirements:
To provide a high level of knowledge and skills relevant to the team's service area, advising and assisting with the development of best practice, systems and protocols which will support the delivery of a quality service and reflect change.
To manage the allocation of work in accordance with priorities, ensuring that assessments, plans and reviews are progressed in a timely matter in order to achieve positive outcomes for children.
To contribute to the management of services as part of the management team and ensure that performance management/quality of practice is being maintained.
To work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure multi-agency assessments, planning, intervention and reviews are also progressed
To be responsible for monitoring and auditing the quality of service, ensuring appropriate action is taken where necessary. This includes providing regular and reflective supervision.
