About the Role
The Democratic Services team sits at the very heart of Warwickshire County Council. It is responsible for managing the Council’s decision-making processes and supporting councillors in their role as constituency leaders.
Being a Senior Democratic Services Officer will require you to support both the Executive and Overview and Scrutiny functions, provide committee administration services and work closely with colleagues at all levels to ensure the support of members and officers is of the highest standard.
We are looking for someone with experience in a democratic services environment. Educated to degree level, you will be a confident, proactive individual with excellent work prioritization capabilities, research, analysis and communication skills and the confidence to support committees and other meetings and provide enhanced support for scrutiny task and finish groups. A knowledge of committee management systems will also be beneficial.
