Principal Social Work Practitioner
We are seeking experienced social work practitioners to join our team of Principal Social Work Practitioners. We have 2 FTE Principal Practitioner vacancies. The posts are located in the Practice Improvement and Quality Assurance Service, and support the functions of the Principal Child and Family Social Worker and the Operations Manager Assurance.
These non case holding roles present an exciting opportunity to contribute to improving social work practice in the Children and Families Service.
In Warwickshire we have adopted Restorative Practice as our theory of change, and the Principal Social Work Practitioner team have an important role in promoting and supporting our new way of working with families. You will also support the professional development of ASYE's and less experienced practitioners, and contribute to quality assurance activities such as audits and reviews.
Key Requirements
You will be an experienced children's social worker who has undertaken assessments and direct work with children at an advanced level, and committed to supporting the development and practice of others through scrutiny, challenge, support and development activities.For further information please see the Job Description and Person Specification
