Quality, Learning and Improvement Officer - Service Development and Assurance
In Warwickshire, we have a strong commitment to improving the safeguarding outcomes for our children and adults. We are seeking to strengthen our assurance function to ensure continuous improvements in the way that services work individually and together to protect and safeguard children and adults. Our Local Safeguarding Board undertakes a key role ensuring lessons identified through safeguarding reviews result in improvements in service delivery.
You will be part of the team reporting to the Business Manager for the Safeguarding Board and lead quality assurance, learning and improvement activity on a multi-agency basis on behalf of the partnership board for children and adults. You will be part of a team supporting the co-ordination of Serious Case Reviews and Safeguarding Adults Reviews.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to high quality services, achieving good outcomes for children and adults. You will be able to engage confidently with partners from across the multi-agency Board.You will lead the development and implementation of the new quality assurance framework, including undertaking and evaluating practice audits, engagement with front line practitioners and service users using standards and performance data where necessary. You will provide evidence of the effectiveness of services and outcomes for safeguarding children and adults. You will provide regular reports, making recommendations for improvements including training and assist with ensuring changes are made to practice.
Key Requirements
You will need to be a confident and organised individual. An excellent communicator, able to provide informed discussion and challenge to leaders and managers of services so that key areas for improvements are acknowledged and acted upon. You will have significant experience of partnership working and a broad understanding of the legislation governing the safeguarding of children and adults. You will be aware of the current challenges facing multi-agency work to protect and safeguard the welfare of children and adults.
