This is an exciting time to join the Warwickshire Placement Hub during its initial development and launch. We are looking for experienced and dedicated staff who enjoy being part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for children of Warwickshire.

We support social worker progression and development and have a strong ethos of supporting progression.

Our Offer to you
The Role
We would welcome social worker’s undertaking their ASYE and they would be supported by the Warwickshire County Council programme for newly qualified social workers.
To provide an experienced oversight in the Placement Hub. You will be expected to work in an agile manner, arranging placement for emergency, short term and longer term placements.
You will have a caseload as well as offering a duty perspective.
Work in partnership with colleagues from Children’s social care, Commissioning and accommodation providers across the country.
Deliver training and support to colleagues across services through coaching and mentoring.
If you are an organised, friendly and efficient person who believes that identifying appropriate homes for our children and supporting carers to provide homes is a priority we welcome your application. The role covers Warwickshire and will be based in Bedworth.
The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
