About Us and The Role
Warwickshire Fostering Service are recruiting to the position of a Special Guardian Order (SGO) Support Practice Leader on a part time, permanent contract. We are investing additional resources into our offer to Special Guardians to create a team that can offer support to SGO holders and their children. The investment plan is being implemented over the next two years.
The team supports families to seek therapeutic services through the Adoption Support Fund (ASF), it also operates a duty system with guidance to appropriate services and some direct therapeutic intervention. Our aim is to offer support to maintain placement stability.
The SGO Support Team is small but is growing and has two dedicated social workers and a family support worker. The successful candidate will need to develop the team, have energy and drive to take the team where we have plans for it to be the very best.
If you want to be part of this exciting and inspirational team, we welcome your application.
