The Traffic and Road Safety Group is committed to delivering effective road safety engineering, training and education interventions to reduce road casualties on Warwickshire’s road and work hard as a team to achieve this.
The role of Road Safety Support Officer is full time and permanent.
Road Safety affects us all – from the time we are born, to the moment we hang up our keys. We are passionate about nurturing and educating children and young people to learn vital road safety skills that will prepare them for independence as they travel through life and we would love you to join our team to help us achieve this.
Your role will be to engage with the Senior Road Safety Officer to support the School Crossing Patrol Supervisor with admin, site visits, interviews and training of School Crossing Patrol, support our Road Safety Officers to deliver the Safe and Active Programme in schools, Communities and workplaces. Supporting the Driver Educational Service Team with the operation of the National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme.
You will be working with our small but dynamic team based in Warwick at an exciting time in road safety education, active and sustainable travel development.
We are looking for an energetic and creative person to join our team.
