Organisation Development Practitioner
Salary: £32,234 - £34,728 per annum
37 hours fixed term for 18 months
About the Team
The Organisational Development Team is a highly engaged and supportive team based in the Resources Group of Warwickshire County Council (WCC). The team play a key role in supporting the organisation to create the right environment and culture to enable our people to be the best they can be. We design and implement a range of programmes and solutions that enables the delivery of our People Strategy, foster a high-performance, and improve services to our customers through our workforce.

About the Role
An exciting and innovative opportunity has arisen to directly support Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service (WFRS) deliver their People Delivery plan.
The temporary position will play an active role as part of our Human Resources – People Solutions delivery team working in partnership with Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service to design and deliver focussed activities and solutions that meet our People Plans and their delivery action plan.
As part of this role, you will:
The role requires a curious and innovative thinker who has delivery experience and uses a coaching style to influence culture and behaviour change at all levels. You will need to be adept at networking and building strong working relationships (both internally and externally); be able to positively challenge senior stakeholders and colleagues to do things differently, possess good facilitation skills, and also be solution focussed bringing creativity, innovation and energy to the role.
You will be offered support and opportunities to develop but will need to be proactive and able to work with purpose and energy to ensure the role provides measurable impact across the organisation and specifically to the WFRS programme of work.
Key Requirements
The temporary OD practitioner role is a fixed term position for 18 months and is open to both external applicants and internal applicants that may wish to apply on a secondment basis. (For secondments applicants must seek approval from their current line manager before applying). An understanding of some of the issues facing the Fire and Rescue Service on a national scale is desirable but not essential.
