About Us and The Role
We are looking for team members to join our friendly Visitor Services team at Market Hall Museum. We are looking to recruit to a casual (0hrs) Visitor Services Assistant to support the team on an ad-hoc basis throughout the year.
The Market Hall Museum stands in the heart of historic Warwick and is a popular destination for both locals and visitors to Warwick.
Our Visitor Services Assistants are the public face of Market Hall Museum. Based in our café and shop, they are passionate about promoting the Museum and our services, motivated to achieve income targets, and dedicated to serving our visitors and the local community.
As a keyholder to the Museum, at the start of each shift you will be helping set up Market Hall for daily operation. You will be meeting and greeting visitors whilst ensuring the smooth running of our family friendly café and shop. Your daily tasks could vary between making sandwiches, paninis and serving locally sourced cakes and drinks in our family friendly café to selling event tickets, Museum trails, gifts, and souvenirs. Our team aim is to deliver a consistent and enjoyable visitor experience whilst generating essential income for the Museum service.
The Candidate
We are looking for someone with experience of working in customer service within a retail or café environment. Good levels of numeracy and literacy are essential to this role.
Training
Full training will be provided. As part of this training the postholder will be required to successfully complete First Aid, Fire Warden and Food Hygiene training.
