Warwickshire County Council are adding to their Flood Risk Management team and we have several positions within the team we are looking to fill.

About Us and the Role
Warwickshire County Council’s role as Lead Local Flood Authority is delivered by the Flood Risk Management team. Some of our key duties and responsibilities are to;
As an intermediate role within the team, the post holder will be given the opportunity to work on tasks across the team to develop experience and an understanding of the breadth of responsibilities of an LLFA.
The postholder will play an important role in engaging with our communities, supporting team members on our planning and consenting functions and provide input during flood events.
The post holder will also provide support to others in the team and will have a good level of ICT skills to ensure that our team data sets, records, GIS maps, and reporting statistics are accurate and up to date.
The Flood Risk Management Team sit within the Planning Delivery group in Environment Services. The group facilitates sustainable development across Warwickshire through regulatory and statutory activities. Other teams within the Planning Development group are;

Archaeology Warwickshire
The Flood Risk Management Team are currently advertising four roles at different levels within the team.
