Road Safety Officer
The Traffic and Road Safety Group is committed to delivering effective road safety engineering, training and education interventions, and publicity to reduce road casualties on Warwickshire’s roads and work hard as a team to achieve this.
This is a great opportunity to join our team in an exciting role working with Warwickshire schools and further education colleges to deliver road safety education in an innovative and creative way.
The Role
Full time and part time hours available
Road safety affects us all - from the time we are born, to the moment we hang up our car keys.
We are passionate about nurturing and educating children and young people to learn vital road safety skills that will prepare them for independence as they travel through life and we would love you to join our team to help us achieve this.
Your main role will be to engage with Warwickshire Secondary Schools to deliver and develop the Road Safety Education sessions, and work with our dynamic team based in Warwick at an exciting time in road safety development.
Key RequirementsWe are looking for an energetic and creative person with a track record working with, or in schools. It would be great if you have: • A real passion for the work we do to inspire and engage children to be road safe • Experience of developing and delivering memorable educational activities • Knowledge of road safety and sustainable travel issues
