Commissioning Support Officer
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and innovative team. The successful candidate will ensure a high quality support service is provided to Commissioners working across the Strategic Commissioning business unit.
The key purpose of this role is to support Commissioners in allocated areas of work within a programme which spans the People Groups activity, to progress robust and integrated commissioning frameworks that deliver redesigned services, promote efficient use of resources and personalised outcomes for service users, patients and carers.

The Strategic Commissioning business unit ensures that Warwickshire delivers excellent commissioning activity, using commercial and business acumen, to secure value for money and high quality services for Warwickshire residents.
Much of our work is focused on analysing and prioritising the needs of our communities and designing and delivering services that target our resources in the most effective way. We want to offer choice, quality and efficiency so that Warwickshire residents are able to access every opportunity to live independently and maintain their well being.
Key requirements
The successful candidate will have an understanding and relevant experience of Social Care, Health and/or Education Services and be able to demonstrate how they meet the criteria outlined within the person specification.
Knowledge of commissioning and contractual arrangements is essential as is experience of working in a busy environment managing competing priorities.
