House Assessment Officer
About Us
HEART (Home Environment Assessment Response Team) is a countywide team comprising of Occupational Therapists and Housing Assessment Officers. They complete assessments and make recommendations to promote customers independence which includes applying for Disabled Facilities Grants for major adaptations.
HEART consists of local borough council and county council staff who are working towards a harmonised approach to deliver the right service at the right time to Warwickshire citizens.
The Role
As a Housing Assessment Officer you will be responsible for assessing Warwickshire residents in their own homes and discussing solutions to environmental barriers such as the installation of a stair lift or level access shower.
You will also discuss prevention and home safety with the aim of Warwickshire residents remaining in their own homes, and being as safe and as independent as possible.

Key Requirements
It would be desirable to have experience as a housing officer or as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
