Job description
Social Care Apprentice - Nuneaton Children's Team
Nuneaton Children's Team is a busy but very supportive team based at The Hilary Road Centre, Nuneaton. We are part of the Safeguarding and Support Service and work with vulnerable children and their families including children subject to Child Protection Plans, Child In Need Plans and Children Looked After.
We currently have 24 social work posts, 2 Family Support Workers and 1 Apprentice who are supported by 5 Team managers and the Operations Manager.
You will be offered a wide range of learning opportunities including training and support to help complete assessments of families, following training to complete direct work, you would complete home visits with social workers, take part in meetings, take minutes and a variety of other tasks to support families
