Customer Services Assistant, Rugby Library
Salary GBP 2539-2590 per annum
5 Hours per week
Saturday 9:30am - 3:00pm
About Us & The Role
The above post is based at our busy Rugby Library where you will be the first point of contact for all users. The post-holder will be an integral part of a small team therefore you will need to use your own initiative and take responsibility to ensure that tasks are completed and customer needs are met, ensuring a positive experience for customers of all ages.
ICT plays a huge role in libraries today so experience of using office packages, the internet and social media is needed to assist our customers when answering enquiries, giving hands-on advice and carrying out administrative duties.
You may also be required to assist with events and activities so you should have the ability to share enthusiasm and knowledge of books and reading with all ages, as well as have the enthusiasm to deliver promotional work including children's activities which may involve singing and telling stories.
Working on a Sunday may be required at Rugby Library as the needs of the service demands.
