We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Physical Disability & Sensory Service Team (PDSS) within Warwickshire on a fixed term for 6 months. We may also consider this post as a secondment providing you have your line manager’s permission.
Our team of Social Care Practitioners and Social Workers operates county wide and whilst we are an agile workforce, we do have office bases in Warwick, North Warwickshire and Bedworth.
Key Requirements
You will be an enthusiastic and dedicated person, preferably experienced within Adult Social Care. You will be required to work with a variety of customers, including people with physical disabilities, sensory requirements, carers and their families and other professionals.You will be required to undertake outcome focused assessments, support planning and reviews. Duty work will also be undertaken within the role. Focusing on strengths and utilising an asset-based approach, you will enable customers to identify outcomes, meet their full potential and maximise their independence.As a strong team player, you will be required to contribute to the development and promotion of the PDSS Team, using imaginative, creative and innovative ways of meeting the support needs of our customers.
