External Group Manager Board 2022
Applications are invited from Substantive Station Managers who would like to apply for the 2022 Group Manager Board in Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service. This will identify those individuals who have the potential to be promoted to Group Manager.
Candidates will be expected to hold the IFE Level 4 operations paper, or equivalent accredited prior learning and the IFE Level 4 Leadership and Management Paper, or equivalent accredited prior learning. As part of the application, you will be required to provide an expression of interest of no more than 500 words and this should detail why you believe you have the potential to become a Group Manager within Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service, along with your CV and confirmation of all relevant qualifications.
The closing date for your application will be Sunday 10th July 2022 at midnight. Shortlisting will take place shortly afterwards, and successful candidates will be invited to participate in the board in week commencing 18th July 2022.
Those successful at the process will join previous successful internal candidates in the overall Promotion Board, where they will then be eligible to apply for any future Group Manager positions.
Existing substantive Group Managers who would like to transfer in should apply through this advert, although they will not be required to sit the same board. You will need to make it clear that are an existing Group Manager, upload your CV, and confirm you have the required qualifications. If successful, you will then be invited to apply for specific positions as and when they arise.
