Asbestos Surveyor
The role requires to work within the Property Risk Team. You will be providing a professional asbestos survey service to schools and corporate buildings within Warwickshire County Council's Property portfolio. This is achieved by undertaking inspections and preparing reports, and providing impartial advice and guidance on the implementation of practical remedial actions.
Key Requirements
The successful candidate would be expected to demonstrate their competence in the asbestos discipline and work independently or as part of a team across a range of activities such as, undertaking asbestos re-inspections and surveys, advising all stakeholders on asbestos-related health and safety legislation/WCC policy, auditing, delivery of training sessions to various levels of staff within the Council as well as external organisations, and carrying out policy development/review. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate. The post is based in Warwick but travel around the County is expected.
