We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Social Worker to join our Learning Disability Service within Warwickshire. We are a Countywide team. The team consists of Social Care Practitioners, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Whilst we are currently working from home, the team has a base in Warwick and Bedworth.
Key requirements
You will be flexible, innovative and have an up to date knowledge and experience of legislation and policies in the social care arena. You will have knowledge of working with a wide range of people, including people with Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with physical disabilities, mental health; carers and their families and other.
You will apply a strengths based approach to assessment and support planning. You will support customers to meet their assessed outcomes and maximise their independence by utilising community resources and universal services.
You will be committed to the promotion of best practice and quality interventions with our customers, carers, partners and stakeholders. As a strong team player, you will be required to contribute to the development and promotion of the Learning Disability Service.
